I am a fourth-year PhD candidate in computational biology, co-advised by Professors Allon Wagner and Nilah Ioannidis. My research focuses on using machine learning methods to elucidate the regulatory interplay between cellular metabolism and gene regulation, with applications in cancer and immunology. I grew up in Portland, Oregon, and later attended Colorado College, where I received my BA in computer science with a minor in statistics. Throughout my undergraduate career, I worked in Dr. Don Conrad’s lab at Oregon Health and Science University studying the genetics of male infertility, where I developed my passion for computational biology. Outside of research, I enjoy running, biking, skiing, and live music.
