I am a PhD student in the joint UCSF/UC Berkeley Bioengineering Program. I grew up in Vancouver, Canada and completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Waterloo. I am advised by Dr. Vikaas Sohal and Dr. Ankit Khambhati at UCSF where I build computational models to dissect neuropsychiatric states in both animal and human models. In the past, I started DojoGrants, a research grants program for underrepresented students and led Nucleate Dojo, building an international biotech community for undergraduates. Outside of the lab, I love being outdoors, traveling, and cooking.
