Hi everyone! My name is Morgan, and I am a 4th-year undergraduate studying Molecular and Cell Biology and Business Administration at the University of California, Berkeley. My research focuses on engineering vacuoles in yeast to compartmentalize biosynthetic pathways in hopes of enhancing pathway efficiency. I am particularly interested in using gene editing in a multitude of therapeutic applications and would like to explore this further by pursuing a PhD in biology. Outside of the lab, I can be found spending time with friends and family, dancing, going to concerts, reading, and playing video games.
