I am a third-year PhD candidate in computational biology at UC Berkeley, advised by Professor Allon Wagner. My research applies deep learning and statistical methods to study cancer immunology and metabolism, working across single-cell RNA-seq and spatial transcriptomics. I’m interested in the underlying biology and in using computational tools to draw insight out of high-dimensional datasets, and I’ve recently extended this work to an osteoarthritis project. I grew up in New York City and attended Cornell University, where I received a BA in Biological Sciences with a concentration in computational biology. Afterward, I worked in Dr. Andrew Teich’s lab at Columbia University, using multi-omics approaches to study Alzheimer’s disease, which inspired me to study computational biology in graduate school. Outside of research, I enjoy traveling with friends and family, climbing, and reading.
